HDMI Upgrade/Mod Kit (Dreamcast)

Overview

The Dreamcast HDMI Mod Kit converts the DC's signal to an HDMI output. The board includes its own firmware and sub-menu where the output can be controlled (hdmi tuned on/off, picture resized, etc). This kit is simple to install but requires basic soldering skills. We've priced this very competitively; the cheapest we could find online was $150 with some reaching $250, but we really want to make this accessible for everyone!

Compatibility

This mod kit is compatible with Dreamcast motherboards VA0 and VA1 (VA2 is not supported).

Features

• 1080P HDMI-Compatible Output.
• Built-in menu allows on the fly adjustment of:
  • 3 aspect ratios.
  • Brightness.
  • Contrast.
  • Saturation.
  • Hues.

Warranty

Due to the requirements of our manufacturer, defects must be reported within 30 Days of purchase. If a problem is identified, we will replace the unit at no additional charge, but you will be responsible for returning the faulty unit. However, we have yet to encounter a bad unit from this supplier so this is just a precaution!

NOTE: If listed as "On Backorder" we will order the unit in as soon as your order is received but it will take approximately 2 weeks for our contractor to manufacture and ship to us so expect 2-4 weeks for delivery.
