FAQS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Question - Video appears pixelated.
Some uses, such as with retro videogame consoles, were not programmed with higher resolutions in mind. Increasing the resolution, simply speaking, is increasing the size of the original image. When doing so, pixelation will occur.
Question - No video image on HDTV or sound from speakers.
Make sure the usb power cable is receiving power. You may have a faulty power supply, or, when using a usb port on a TV, the port might not be powered. Try another power source or alternate port. Lastly, try a different HDMI cable to rule out a faulty cable.
Question - No audio, only image on television.
Make sure the red wire is connected to the red port on both the input device and the converter. Do the same for the white wire.
Question - Video cuts in and out or is shaky.
Disconnect and then reconnect the AV and HDMI cables. Be sure the connectors are flush into each respective port.
Question - My screen is blue.
This may happen when using an incompatible tv settings. Make sure in your tv settings that it is set to 60Hz and either 720p or 1080p and that the converter is set to the same resolution.
Question - No signal.
Set your TV input mode to HDMI mode. If multiple HDMI modes, cycle through your HDMI modes on your TV.
